Katrina Heath. Artistic Director
Katrina is an actress, director and writer experienced in creating work by and for families and children. She worked as an actress (Trinity Arts Centre Tunbridge Wells, The Players Theatre London, White Horse Theatre Germany, City Varieties Leeds) and then a primary school teacher before combining both to run a Theatre- In-Education company (StoryMagic) for whom she writes and directs.
In The Park Productions was born out of a desire to bring theatre to a family audience and specifically to make theatre accessible to all families, including those that have children happier in wellies and looking for worms than sitting quietly in a dark room.
She strives to put the participants right at the heart of the action, making them as involved as possible in the creation of the piece.
Katrina also works as a teacher of drama, singing and musical theatre in her own theatre school in Todmorden where she lives with her magician husband, two daughters and dog.
